The History of Burger Stop

The Theobald family started to share their dream in 1993 with the creation of Burger Stop. "Do what the competition won't do and do it better" – this motto applies to everything from the food quality, menu offerings to creating raving fans. The work began and will never stop. New creative products and specialty menu offerings are what this business is all about. From our signature burger to the fresh fruit shakes, Burger Stop is what you and your family are looking for.... Something Different.

From the moment you open the door to Burger Stop you travel back in time, the walls are covered with framed memories of the good times we have had here over the past 25 years. The Juke Box is playing everything from Elvis to The Beach Boys and the air is filled with the smell of our famous burgers on the grill. Ice-cream is our specialty and we pile it high!

Originally opening in the 70’s as Dee’s Hamburgers, Dee’s offered their signature burgers and ice cream for nearly 10 years before leaving the industry. In the late 80’s the building was leased by Hardees, a fast food franchise that stuck around just over five years. Burger Stop has kept the tradition alive in our location since 1993 and we plan on being around for many years to come!

People from all over Utah come here to display their Hot Rods and feel like they stepped into the 1950's again. If you are in the neighborhood stop in and we promise you will come back for more.
